M Arifur Rahman is the director and trainer whose work has redefined the theatre landscape in Dhaka. His acclaimed productions, including 12 Angry Men, Art, Rashomon, Arsenic and Old Lace, and And Then There Were None, have set new benchmarks for naturalistic performance and powerful ensemble acting.

Alongside his productions, he has been conducting workshops for years, enabling countless actors to discover their own natural presence and truthfulness on stage. His efforts have played a vital role in spreading theatre culture in Dhaka, inspiring both emerging performers and audiences to see theatre as an essential part of life.
