Plot Summary
The play revolves around the friendship of three friends, Serge, Marc, and Yvan, and the purchase of a modern art painting by Serge. The play begins with Serge showing his friends the painting he purchased for a large sum of money. Marc, however, finds the painting to be a joke and a waste of money, while Yvan tries to remain neutral but is caught in the middle of their argument.
